Health Innovation Spotlight: Houston Methodist

We’re shining a spotlight on the innovative work of our WebMD Choice Award winners with our new Health Innovation Spotlight. 

The WebMD® Patient Choice Award and Medscape® Physician Choice Awards program identifies the “best in class” health systems in a local region from a consumer perspective, at the point in which that patient and/or loved one is actively seeking care for a specific condition. 

These Choice Award winners are doing groundbreaking work to provide world-class patient care and this Health Innovation Spotlight is our way of recognizing their efforts and sharing best practices. 

First, we’re diving into Houston Methodist's cutting-edge approach, featuring electronic check-ins, contactless payments, and automated workflows – revolutionizing the patient experience! Six different videos detail their various innovation efforts. 

Houston Methodist was recognized by patients and providers in our 2023 WebMD Choice Awards program - receiving 52 awards overall, including one WebMD Elite Choice Award for Cardiology in their region. (See our 2023 Choice Awards announcement.)
